Cãna Cachaça

Cãna is an expression of togetherness. It is a blend of 3 unique cachaças, sourced from different regions of Brazil, each teeming with its own culture and traditions—a perfect synergy.

What is Cachaça?
Cachaça is one of the oldest spirits in the world and has been bringing friends and communities together since the 16th century. In Brazil, it is beloved by all, regardless of occupation or class. Pure cachaça is made from freshly- pressed sugar cane juice, fermented, and distilled using natural methods.

Dom Maria Brazilian Brut

Your Casual Brazilian Sparkling Wine. When we decided to produce a vintage Brazilian sparkling wine, we wanted it to be as versatile as our country and fresh enough to enjoy any time of the day. That’s casual for us.

We worked with one of the earliest Italian immigrant families, Valduga, to create this exceptional sparkling wine.

Who We Are

Nice to meet you, it’s a pleasure to be here and get the opportunity to introduce you to our vision: The Folclore Company.

The creation of CÃNA begins, as most beautiful things do, with a longtime friendship. While living in New York, two Brazilians: the art director, Guilherme Junqueira, and the entrepreneur, Nick Walker, found themselves longing for home. Embracing the Brazilian emotion of saudade, a nostalgia for a place or happiness that once was, they went searching for the classic Brazilian spirit to share with their American friends. What they found was disappointing and inspired the idea to bring a high-quality cachaça to the world, this led to the creation of their firest brand.

The pair of friends returned to Brazil to find a product they would be proud to call Brazilian. After a two-month long road trip throughout Brazil, they finally found what they were looking for—the first Cãna recipe and design. With this they returned to New York and began sharing it with friends.

The taste of Cãna cachaça is a transportive experience. When you open the bottle, the warmth of summer, the freshness of tropical forests, and the depth of friendship will all flood your senses. This is what we call Brazilianship. The pursuit of the perpetual tropical summer.
